AH&LA offers nearly a dozen award categories and there’s no cost to enter. Whether you’ve achieved excellence in information technology, creating an environment of inclusion for all employees, or want to recognize a rising star at your organization, we have an award for you.
Award categories for employees include:
- Outstanding Lodging Employee of the Year
- Outstanding Manager of the Year
- Outstanding General Manager of the Year
- Stevan Porter Emerging Hospitality Leader of the Year (for Under 30 Gateway members)
Award categories for properties include:
- Community service
- Good Earthkeeping (for greening achievements)
- Guest services
- Prism (for diversity)
- Special events – Ongoing and One-time Only
- New: Technology Innovation of the Year
This year applications will only be accepted online – visit www.ahla.com/stars for more information and to complete your nomination.
To apply, first identify your state lodging association and determine if they offer the award you’re interested in applying for. If they do, you must apply directly through them and not through AH&LA.
If your state association does not offer the award category you’re interested in applying for, follow the instructions to submit nominations to AH&LA by February 17.
